UK Music Video Awards 2013, le nomination

La musica inglese torna a celebrare l’arte audiovisuale che oramai è parte integrante della promozione musicale e lo fa con gli UK Music Video Awards 2013, in programma il 28 Ottobre dalla Queen Elizabeth Hall di Southbank Centre, a Londra.

Giunti ormai alla sesta edizione (sono iniziati nel 2008), gli UK Music Video Awards ci tengono a distinguersi dai diretti parenti americani di MTV concentrandosi sugli addetti ai lavori, quali registi, produttori, coreografi e tecnici, che si impegnano nella riuscita di un videoclip musicale.

Saranno premiate diverse categorie di video, dal rock all’hip hop, che tendono a concentrarsi sull’eccellenza della musica inglese dell’ultimo anno, con qualche escursione international che potrà vedere tra i trionfatori anche i cugini americani.

Dai più mainstream Robbie Williams e Jessie J, all’hip hop di Dizzee Rascal e Earl Sweatshirt fino alla dance di Rudimental; nomination anche per l’ultima scoperta di Soundsblog, i London Grammar, e per la candidata al Mercury Prize Laura Mvula, così come per Florence + The Machine, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (quest’anno onnipresenti) e gli Ok Go, John Grant, Naughty Boy e Olly Murs per un parterre davvero eterogeneo.
