Phil Collins torna a cantare? E non esclude una reunion e un tour con i Genesis
Parole confortanti per i fan del cantante inglese
Phil Collins potrebbe tornare a riaffacciarsi alla musica. Non è ancora chiaro se come solista o addirittura in una reunion con i Genesis. A rivelarlo lui stesso all’anteprima di “Tarzan”, un musical basato sul film omonimo della Walt Disney:
“Ho iniziato a pensare di fare cose nuove. Forse fare alcuni di nuovo alcuni show, anche con i Genesis”
L’uomo si sbottona, parlando anche di una sorta di tour, sebbene non accennando (ancora) alla possibilità di esibirsi anche in Europa:
“Tutto è possibile. Potremmo andare in tour in Australia e in Sud America. Non siamo stati lì”
Poco tempo fa, questa possibilità era stata anticipata e ventilata anche dal figlio del cantante, Simon, frontman della band Sound of Contact, che ha ammesso la ritrovata vena artistica del padre:
“Mio padre sta alla grande. Sta iniziando a scrivere di nuovo e trascorre più tempo con la famiglia, me compreso”
L’ultimo album in studio di Phil Collins risale al 2002 con Testify mentre nel 2010 ha pubblicato un disco di cover, Going Back.
