Con un annuncio su Twitter, lo scorso gennaio, Azealia Banks aveva annunciato al mondo interno il cambio di programma. Non più Miss Amor / Miss Camaraderie come primo singolo, bensì Yung Rapunxel.

Anche l’uscita del disco è stata posticipata ed ecco, finalmente, il brano online tanto atteso e tanto chiacchierato. Perché se Azealia ha intenzione di conquistare le classifiche, ad oggi ha conquistato solamente le pagine delle riviste e quelle web a causa di polemiche, critiche e offese via Twitter (ricordate l’attacco a Perez Hilton?). Ma oggi, a distanza di giorni dal rilascio ufficiale -originariamente previsto per il 26 marzo- è apparsa online

Un sound aggressivo che fagocita la voce della Banks, diciamolo, niente di così innovativo, al primo ascolto. Ma un buon video e altre dichiarazioni poco diplomatiche potrebbero aiutare la rapper con le vendite, attirando l’attenzione del pubblico. Proprio nelle scorse ore, non ha lesinato critiche a Rita Ora, via Twitter, partendo semplicemente da un paio di scarpe che la cantante aveva condiviso sul sociale network. Solo questo è bastato per ironizzare sulla Ora -da parte della Banks- e approfittando dell’occasione per sottolineare il suo desiderio estremo e la sua voglia di apparire il più simile possibile a Rihanna.

Il suo album -del quale questo è il primo estratto- si intitola Broke With Expensive Taste
