In attesa di decretare il tormentone estivo di questo 2010, Billboard ci fornisce un elenco dei singoli che hanno spopolato nella calda stagione dal 1985 al 2009.
Di tutto e di più è possibile rinvenire in queste classifiche: alcune canzoni era impossibile non citarle, altre invece sono state delle vere e proprie sorprese; qualcuna di esse ha suscitato un pò di nostalgia, altre al contrario hanno provocato sensazioni non proprio idilliache per via dell’effetto “martellante” creatosi nel periodo in cui hanno dominato (avevano proprio stufato).

Tipo nel 2000/2001 non ricordo precisamente perchè ero piccola ma il tormentone era la canzone della Minogue Can’t get you out of my head (non so se l’ho scritto bene) tormento massacrante per tutta l’estate..quel la la la mi è rimasto ancora in testa.
Ovviamente volevo scorrere già al 2007 per vedere umbrella al 1 posto..così è stato ma come si fa ad omettere Girlfriend? Ma dai… Estate 2007 Umbrella e Girlfriend sono stati i tormentoni prima di tutto.. come si fa a non scriverlo un successone del genere? Con tutte quelle views che ha avuto il video??
E sempre nel 2007, come si fa a non dire che Rock this party di Bob Sinclair non era un tormentone?? Poi ci hanno messo Kingston..invece secondo me ci dovevano mettere Sean Paul con Temperature!!
Poi nel 2008 non citano Don’t stop the music che è stato anche un tormentone insieme a Disturbia per tutta l’estate…Take a Bow molto di meno! ..e Shine On di R.I.O? Dov’è?
Nel 2009 citano Lovegame della Gaga..ma come se fa?? Poker Face già ce la siamo dimenticati?? vabbè che ci ha rotto le scatole peròò…e al posto della canzone della Perry avrei messo Fly High di Shaggy
vabbè…non mi piace questa classifica sinceramente…se mi sforzo mi vengono altre cose in mente…

Infatti ricordo un’estate con sottofondo fastidiosamente martellante di “Chihuaua”…canzone agghiacciante e vero e proprio tormentone (in senso letterale, però); non essendo citata qui, evidentemente, ha attecchito solo in Italia. O__o
Per il resto, sono abbastanza indifferente; non ho mai subito il fascino delle canzoni estive (mi ritengo fortunato ad aver sentito Waka Waka, al massimo una volta e mezza).

Tutti i singoli che hai citato tu sono dei tormentoni, ma non dimentichiamo che questa è una classifica americana (dei tormentoni estivi americani). Molti singoli che hai citato tu in america hanno avuto successo in inverno/primavera, da noi in estate. Infatti come mai non è presente Poker Face tra i tormentoni del 2009? Semplicemente perchè ha avuto il suo “periodo d’oro” in primavera e da noi in estate.

Nel 1985 avevamo gente con le palle tipo Sting, Prince, Tears For Fears e Duran Duran poi scadiamo piano piano fino ad arrivare a robaccia tipo Rihanna, Pitbull e Avril Lavigne… per non parlare dell’Italia con Sfigabue e Amici vari

Am To Pm fu un mezzo flop (27 nella Hot 100).
Asereje non si può manco considerarla come hit.
Can’t Get Out Of My Head uscì in autunno (negli States addirittura in pieno inverno), quindi non so come tu possa esserne stata ossessionata d’estate…
