Grammy 2013: tutti i vincitori, premiati i Fun, Album of the Year a Babel, Gotye è Record of the Year

Si sono appena conclusi i Grammy 2013 e noi di Soundsblog li abbiamo seguiti in diretta insieme a voi per informarvi sull’assegnazione dei premi di questa 55esima edizione. Possiamo dire che non c’è stato un vero e proprio boom di un artista o di un gruppo. Nelle categorie più importanti, possono sentirsi soddisfatti i Fun, con “We are young” consacrata come “Song of the year” e loro stessi come “Best New Artist“, battendo anche i The Lumineers e Frank Ocean. Un po’ a sorpresa Gotye featuring Kimbra hanno vinto la categoria “Record of the year” con “Somebody that I Used to Know” che ha avuto la meglio addirittura su Taylor Swift, Frank Ocean, The Black Keys e i Fun. Premio altrettanto importante per i Mumford & Sons che continuano a riscuotere successi e consensi: “Babel” è, infatti, “Album of the year“.

Sono quasi tutti vincitori in questa edizione. Adele ha conquistato un altro Grammy -Best Solo Performance- con “Set fire to the rain” battendo Rihanna che si è però consolata con “We found love” come Best Short Form Music Video. Anche Kelly Clarkson ha trionfato: non avrà vinto l’album dell’anno ma è comunque suo il “Best Pop Vocal Album”. E i The Black Keys? Premi anche per loro, come “Best Rock Performance” e “Best Rock Song” per “Lonely Boy”e Best Rock Album con “El Camino”. E Frank Ocean? Anche a lui il Grammy Best Urban Contemporary Album con “Channel Orange”.

In questa edizioni, molti i vincitori, non solo un nome in particolare come fu Adele, ad esempio, nel 2012. Hanno brillato anche le performance, con un Justin Timberlake accolto con entusiasmo dal pubblico e una Rihanna in splendida forma per cantare la ballad “Stay”, in una versione raffinata, elegante e sicura di sé e riapparsa per l’omaggio a Bob Marley. Bruno Mars ha cantato il suo singolo “Locked Out of Heaven” e ha duettato con Sting, Alicia Keys ha nuovamente ripresentato “Girl on Fire” e ad aprire la serata Taylor Swift con la sua “We’re never ever getting back together”. Katy Perry presenta i nominati della categoria “Best New Artist” e ad avere la meglio sono i Fun! Si esibisce poi Hunter Hayes con “Wanted”. Un po’ di sorpresa per la categoria “Record of the year” con la vittoria di “Somebody that I Used to Know”, calcolando anche la presenza di Taylor Swift e dei Fun. Il cantante ringrazia pubblicamente Prince per essere stato la sua fonte di ispirazione. Ed ecco l’ultimo attesissimo premio da consegnare. L’album of the year viene vinto da… Babel dei Mumford & Sons!
