Monsters Of Rock, 12 Settembre 1992 a Reggio Emilia: 25 anni fa, un concerto storico

CampoVolo di Reggio Emilia: nel vocabolario attuale italiano, è ormai sempre associato ai concerti oceanici di Ligabue (ci ha pure registrato un live). Ma per i “vecchi del metal in Italia”, è stato luogo di festival storici.
Il 12 Settembre 1992, ad esempio, si teneva il Monsters Of Rock. Questa la lineup definitiva, al netto di un paio di defezioni:

Erano anni in cui poi il concerto sarebbe stato trasmesso quasi integralmente in televisione, su VideoMusic. Ecco quindi che, venticinque anni dopo, comodamente sul vostro computer potete festeggiare l’anniversario guardandovi i video quasi completi di tutte le esibizioni. Ci sono i Black Sabbath con Ronnie James Dio alla voce, ci sono i Pantera affamati di prendersi un posto molto più in altro nella lineup, ci sono i Warrant un po’ fuori target come band, ma che comunque si sono portati Dimebag Darrell come ospite per una canzone. Ci sono gli Iron Maiden freschi freschi di Fear Of The Dark.
