Grammy Awards 2011: le proposte di nominations delle case discografiche

Le case discografiche hanno inviato alla National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences le proposte di nominations per i Grammy Awards del 2012.

In questo caso non si tratta di premiazioni usa e getta o che servono a dare contentini a star ed artisti acchiappa audiance: stiamo parlando degli Oscar della musica, espressione che più volte abbiamo usato. Eppure, nonostante tale importanza, le cose sembrano non cambiare rispetto ai VMA o ad altre cerimonie di premiazioni.

Questo ci fa capire di quanto potere le major abbiano in questi settori: arrivano a condizionare tutto il sistema, il che induce ad avvicinarsi con molto sospetto agli awards. Dopo il salto la lista delle proposte di nominations (nomi visti e rivisti, almeno per ciò che concerne i settori mainstream). Le nomine vere e proprie verranno annunciate il prossimo 30 novembre, i vincitori invece il 12 febbraio. Una curiosità: le categorie sono state ridotte da 109 a 78 (a rimetterci è stata soprattutto quella r’n’b).
