The Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour nei cinema mercoledì 26 settembre, in Dvd dall’8 ottobre 2012

Nel 1967 la band inglese inventa, scrive e dirige il film Magical Mystery Tour con sei nuovi brani

Se invece volete gustarvi la pellicola al cinema non perdete l’occasione di vederla, solo per oggi, mercoledì 26 settembre 2012, nei cinema di tutta Italia

Uscirà il prossimo 8 ottobre, in tutto il mondo, il Magical Mystery Tour dei Beatles in Dvd. Era il 1967 quando la band inventa, scrive e dirige il film di una fantastica giornata al mare in pullman.

Sarà una versione totalmente restaurata -attualmente fuori catalogo e non disponibile- quella che ci aspetta, grazie alla Apple Films. Ecco le versioni diponibili: DVD e Blu-ray e una deluxe edition box 10”x10. Proprio quest’ultima versione include il il dvd e Blu-ray insieme ad un libro di 60 pagine con notizie, informazioni, curiosità. E, se questo non vi basta, potrete stringere tra le mani il doppio EP su vinile da 7” pubblicato negli Uk durante l’uscita della pellicola.

Ci saranno part e scene inediti con, in aggiunta, un commento di Paul McCartney. Nella storyline del film sono stati inseriti sei nuovi pezzi, inediti per l’epoca: “Magical Mystery Tour,” “The Fool On The Hill,” “I Am The Walrus,” “Flying,” “Blue Jay Way,” e “Your Mother Should Know.” Dopo il salto, tutte le informazioni tecniche e specifiche:

    ‘Hello Goodbye’ (3m 24s), as featured in Top of the Pops 1967
    The Beatles allowed the BBC to film them in the edit suite where they were working on Magical Mystery Tour. This was then turned into a promo by the BBC, who shot their own additional footage. It was then broadcast on Top of the Pops to mark the ‘Hello Goodbye’ single going to No 1 in December 1967.
    Nat’s Dream (2m 50s) – A scene directed by John featuring Nat Jackley and not included in the original film.
    Ivor Cutler – ‘I’m Going In A Field’ (2m 35s) – Ivor performs ‘I’m Going In A Field’, in a field. This scene was not included in the original film.
    Traffic – ‘Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush’ (1m 53s) – The filming of Traffic acting out their 1967 hit single ‘Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush’ was commissioned by The Beatles for possible inclusion in Magical Mystery Tour but was not used in the final edit.
