Katy Perry prima cantante donna con 2 Riaa Digital Diamond Awards (per Firework e Dark Horse)

Altro traguardo importante per Katy Perry. La cantante ha superato la soglia dei 10 milioni di singoli venduti (calcolando anche gli streaming) con le hit “Firework” e “Dark Horse”. E’ lei la prima artista donna al mondo ad aver conquistato due prestigiosissimi Riaa Digital Diamond Awards. E si avvia a conquistarne un terzo con “Roar” che ha invece raggiunto l’ottavo disco di Platino.

E’ stata la prima artista nella storia a superare le 70 milioni di certificazioni cumulative nel RIAA’s Gold & Platinum Digital Single Program ed è la quinta artista di sempre ad essersi guadagnata il disco di Diamante per una release digitale. E proprio oggi, 30 ottobre 2015, esce in DVD e Blu-Ray il “THE PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR LIVE”.
