American Idol 2014: Caleb Johnson è il vincitore (video)
Ecco il nuovo “idolo” del talent show americano
Si è conclusa questa notte la tredicesima edizione di American Idol e ad aver avuto la meglio è stato Caleb Johnson, in una serata che ha visto salire sul palco numerosi cantanti ospiti della finale. Oltre ai tre giudici che hanno espresso il proprio parere nel corso di questi mesi, si sono aggiunti Lady Antebellum, Demi Lovato e Phillip Phillips.
Nella puntata conclusiva della serie, andata in onda ieri 21 maggio 2014, Caleb si è scontrato con l’altra finalista del programma, Jena Irene. Ma alla fine il pubblico ha decretato il ragazzo come assoluto vincitore del talent show.
Caleb Perry Johnson è nato il 23 aprile 1991 ad Asheville, North Carolina ed è riuscito a vincere dopo due tentativi falliti nello stesso concorso per le stagioni 10 e 11. Johnson è il primo cantante hard rock ed heavy metal ad aver trionfato nello show. Era il cantante di una band rock’n’roll Elia Hooker nel 2010 e proprio come la vincitrice della scorsa stagione Candice Glover, ha fatto l’audizione per tre volte. Alla fine, però, è riuscito ad avere la rivalsa tanto attesa e sognata.
