Non potevamo non scegliere questa canzone per augurarvi un sincero Buon Natale 2013. Parliamo ovviamente di Happy Xmas (War Is Over)

Il brano è composto e registrato da John Lennon e Yoko Ono, ed è stato pubblicato come singolo natalizio, il 6 dicembre 1971 negli Stati Uniti. Inizialmente nato come protesta per la guerra in Vietnam ha poi preso il ruolo di effettivo e assoluto classico natalizio.

La canzone fu pubblicata insieme Listen the Snow is falling (scritto da Yoko) sul lato B. Venne poi rilasciata nuovamente il 20 dicembre 1980, dopo la morte di John Lennon e, negli anni a seguire, spesso rientrò nelle classifiche dei pezzi più acquistati sempre nel periodo natalizio.
