Chic feat. Nile Rodgers, I’ll Be There: testo, traduzione e video ufficiale

Nile Rodgers è tornato da un paio d’anni col suo incredibile stile e non poteva che riempire le classifiche, oltre alle piste da ballo (uso volutamente un termine desueto): dopo la collaborazione su Get Lucky dei Daft Punk, lo storico chitarrista degli Chic ha dato alle stampe il nuovo singolo I’ll Be There.

La canzone è un tributo allo storico bassista degli Chic Bernard Edwards, trovato morto dallo stesso Nile Rodgers nel 1996 in una stanza di hotel a Tokyo dopo un concerto al Budokan: infatti si basa su un vecchio demo dimenticato degli Chic intitolato Love Someone Today, che Nile Rodgers ha rispolverato sapientemente dandogli quel celebre suono old style che conquisterà chi lo ha amato con i Daft Punk e non solo.

La canzone è uscita in sordina circa un mese fa, accompagnata dalle parole di Nile Rodgers:
