Band Aid 30 hanno rivelato il testo della versione 2014 del brano “Do they know it’s Christmas“. Alcuni passaggi della canzone sono stati riscritti proprio per beneficenza con lo scopo di raccogliere fondi e combattere il virus dell’ebola. Tra gli interpreti del brano troviamo One Direction, Rita Ora, Olly Murs, Ellie Goulding, Elbow’s Guy Garvey, Bastille, Paloma Faith e Seal.

Il brano sarà disponibile per il download dal 1 novembre 2014. Nelle 24 ore successive, invece, verrà rilasciato il video ufficiale della canzone. La premiere, però, avverrà durante la puntata in diretta di X Factor Uk.
