Juno Awards 2014, nomination: Arcade Fire in testa con sei, bene Drake e Michael Bublè

Svelate le nomination dei premi musicali assegnati dal Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences: la cerimonia il 30 Marzo prossimo.

I Juno Awards sono gli Oscar della musica intrisi nello sciroppo d’acero: i premi musicali più importanti del Canada vengono assegnati ogni anno dal Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences e si occupano di riconoscere le eccellenze canadesi nel campo musicale, sia a livello di vendite di dischi o fama degli artisti, sia tutte le maestranze che contribuiscono a rendere l’industria musicale importante, dai tecnici ai discografici agli ingegneri del suono.

Le nomination dei Juno Awards 2014 sono state svelate ieri in una lunghissima lista che potete leggere qui sotto (se avete pazienza: sono davvero tante). Botto per gli Arcade Fire, i rocker di Montréal che hanno pubblicato lo scorso Settembre il loro disco Reflektor apprezzatissimo in tutto il mondo: la band porta a casa ben sei nomination nelle categorie principali, tra cui ovviamente quella di Album Of The Year.

Bene anche per Drake, Céline Dion e Michael Bublé, in lizza come migliori album e migliori cantanti nelle categorie, così come altri nomi canadesi quali Avril Lavigne, Robin Thicke e naturalmente Justin Bieber, dato come probabile vittorioso del Juno Fan Choice Awards nonostante le ultime vicissitudini.

Alla cerimonia di premiazione, prevista per il 30 Marzo prossimo a Winnipeg, si esibirà Robin Thicke, così come City and ColourRyder, Tegan and Sara e i Walk off the Earth.
