Moltissime categorie e nomi per i premi dedicati al genere blues, che si svolgeranno a Maggio 2014 a Memphis.

La cerimonia si svolgerà nel 2014, ma la Blues Foundation americana, l’organizzazione che si occupa della salvaguardia e protezione del genere musicale del blues, si è portata decisamente avanti con la lista delle nomination dei Blues Music Awards 2013: sono state infatti pubblicate le (numerose) categorie, tra le quali anche quelle specifiche per i musicisti, e i nomi che animeranno la serata di consegna dei premi.

La trentacinquesima edizione dei Blues Music Awards si terrà l’8 Maggio 2014 alla Cook Convention Center di Memphis, in Tennessee.

La lunghissima lista dei nominati è qui sotto: spiccano i veterani Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton e Buddy Guy, e vanno tenuti sicuramente d’occhio i giovani che concorrono al Best Breakthrough.
