BET Awards 2013, i vincitori: trionfa Kendrick Lamar

I premi del canale Black Entertainment Television sono stati assegnati ieri 30 Giugno a Los Angeles: la lista completa dei vincitori.

Si sono svolti ieri sera a Los Angeles i BET Awards 2013, i premi che il canale BET, acronimo di Black Entertainment Television, riserva ogni anno agli afroamericani e alle altre minoranze nei più svariati campi dell’intrattenimento, quali musica, recitazione ma anche sport, televisione e beneficenza.

La diretta dal Nokia Theatre è stata condotta dall’attore Chris Tucker ed è stata ricca di performance live e qualche sorpresa: a dispetto delle ben 12 nomination che si era portato a casa, Drake è riuscito a vincere solo nelle categorie Best Video Of The Year e Coca Cola Viewers Choice con la sua Started From The Bottom; premio non personale ma condiviso per la Best Collaboration of The Year, per il featuring nella canzone Problems di A Rocky assieme a 2 Chainz e Kendrick Lamar.

Rihanna si è aggiudicata l’ennesimo premio, sbancando nella categoria di Best Female R&b/Pop Artist, mentre quello Hip Hop è andato alla regina rap femminile Nicki Minaj. Consacrazione per Emeli Sandé, che ha vinto il premio Best International Act: Uk che sancisce definitivamente la sua importanza nel mondo della musica black mondiale.

Tra i maschi, trionfo inaspettato per Kendrick Lamar che surclassa le infinite nomination di Drake e porta a casa ben due premi fondamentali, quello come Best New Artist e quello come Best Male Hip Hop Artist; Miguel si è aggiudicato il Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, mentre gli outsiders Macklemore & Ryan Lewis hanno battuto tutti nella categoria Best Group.
