In soli tre mesi di 2011 sono usciti talmente tanti album che è giusto fare il punto della situazione. Mancano all’appello vari nomi da novanta ma già ora, in così poco tempo, abbiamo fra le mani una quantità decisamente elevata di dischi validi.
Ottimi newcomers come James Blake, Esben and the Witch, Anna Calvi, Chapel Club e Yuck, seconde prove più che all’altezza (Lykke Li, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart), il ritorno a sorpresa dei Radiohead, l’ennesima grande prova di PJ Harvey… solo per citarne alcuni. Per quanto riguarda l’Italia, da incorniciare l’opera enorme dei Verdena, il debutto di Dumbo Gets Mad e l’ottimo Paolo Benvegnù.

28 mar 2011 - 13:45 - #5 (nascondi)Comunque quel 4/5 a Loredana Errore non mi sembra giusto..ricordo per esempio che a “sulla mia pelle” di Noemi avevi dato un 6 (o 5/6..non ricordo), e non mi sembra che ci sia tutta questa differenza tra i due album qualitativamente.

28 mar 2011 - 17:59 - #12Non sono assolutamente d’accordo con i voti dati a Cristina Donà e a Joan as Police Woman che hanno sfornato i capolavori tanto attesi della loro carriera.
L’album della Donà mostra una maturità che però non pregiudica l’eccletticità del disco, mentre Joan as Police Woman ha finalmente sviluppato le trame dei suoi pezzi a dovere. Ad esempio, trovo fantastico l’album di Pj Harvey, ma per me é meno bello di quello della DOnà e della Wasser.
Per non parlare di Anna Calvi, che non capisco perché venga valutata cosí bene essendo un minestrone di vari ortaggi triti e ritriti (non ultimo la Piggei).

A proposito degli altri voti invece concordo fondamentalmente con voi, in particolare su Lykke Li (per ora il suo album è il mio preferito del 2010) e su Polly Jean e i Radiohead, che come al solito non deludono!
