NME Awards 2011 : Foals e Arcade Fire i più nominati

Vi va di mettere da parte per un po’ le buone maniere e votare, una volta tanto, musica e personaggi peggiori dell’anno oltre ai “soliti” migliori? Fate un salto sul sito del New Musical Express, nel caso. Sono aperte le votazioni per gli NME Awards 2011 e avete ampissimo raggio d’azione.

Tutto o quasi è concesso. Per esempio: detestate l’inamovibile, onnipresente frangettone di Justin Bieber? Cogliete al volo l’occasione, potete etichettare lui come Persona meno figa e condannare il suo disco a Peggiore dell’anno. Oppure non perdonate a Simon Cowell di aver infestato palinsesti tv e classifiche di mezzo mondo col suo X-Factor? Ottimo, è la volta buona di ridimensionarlo regalandogli il titolo di Villain, il ‘bas*ardo’ della compagnia.

Sfogati i più bassi istinti potrete poi passare ad altro, ai riconoscimenti veri e propri: c’è da eleggere il miglior disco e la miglior canzone, i concerti ed i festival…la classica liturgia insomma, ma in chiave indie. Scorrete le 24 categorie in lizza dopo la pausa e fate le vostre scelte. I nomi più caldi sono quelli di Foals (5 nominations) e Arcade Fire (a quota 4). La cerimonia di consegna si terrà a Londra il 23 febbraio, una settimana dopo i BRITs. E ho il sospetto che, nel caso, Justin e Simon difficilmente si faranno vedere sorridenti sul podio…
