Il brano in origine doveva chiamarsi “Hollywood is Dead”: uno sfogo vero e proprio, scritto da Michael Bublé a quattro mani con il cantautore canadese Robert G. Scott. La confessione di aver dovuto recitare il ruolo del bravo ragazzo, col faccino pulito e i modi da crooner gentiluomo, solo per compiacere l’industria discografica. Poi l’ennesimo compromesso: il titolo del nuovo singolo è diventato semplicemente “Hollywood”.

Un brano che ‘traghetta’ idealmente il precedente “Crazy Love” verso la sua re-issue, nei negozi il prossimo 18 ottobre (il 25 negli USA). La Special Edition conterrà alcune tracce nuove, versioni live delle canzoni già presenti nell’album e, appunto, il nuovo singolo. Che uscirà anche all’interno di un EP insieme alle nuove tracce (ma senza i pezzi dal vivo) chiamato “Hollywood the Deluxe EP”.

Il video è molto divertente, chiarisce bene il fastidio di Bublé nell’aver accettato il ‘personaggio’ e prende bonariamente in giro anche un altro prodotto dell’industria del disco: Justin Bieber. Dopo il salto trovate il testo della canzone.
